Never, never but NEVER! Stop Dreaming

9 months ago Alejo began to dream of our life in a catamaran … he repeated it to me a thousand times and I saw it so far that I didn’t care much. He kept saying it so often that I began to think more and more about it, his mission was to motivate me, so he began to show me videos of people who lived in a boat and in a short time I was already in love with this lifestyle because it was not very difficult, we shared the same passion for the sea and the wind.

Together we began to create a beautiful dream, where we imagined living in a catamaran next to a remote island with turquoise blue water, where we could do Kitesurf every day in paradisiacal places … But when we returned to reality everything seemed so far away and very difficult to achieve, almost impossible .. Where would we get the money for that? And we don’t know anything about navigation?

Alejo knew that if he made me believe in this idea as much as he believed in it, we were going to achieve it, because whenever we want something it becomes an ‘obsession’ for us, we think about it and turn things around 24 hours of the day if we have to until we find a way to achieve it.

If there’s something that we’ve learned as we’ve accomplished our dreams is that we never know where the money comes from, nor how we make things happen. All we have to do is believe. Believe that we’re capable. Believe that somehow and someway things are just going to happen. Believe that we have the strength to fight for it until we achieve it. And believe that we have fought so hard for it that God wants to reward us for our hard work, persistence and discipline.

The difference between a dream and a reality is the faith we have in ourselves to achieve it, if we don’t believe we’re capable of achieving it, we don’t even turn it into a goal or objective for which we begin to work hard until we achieve.

All I can say is that I feel very fortunate. Extremely grateful because I don’t know what I did to have the wonderful life I have. I don’t know what I did to have a life partner who loves me so much and believes in me as much as I believe in myself. Thank you God and life for allowing us to dream big, without limitations … For allowing us to design life as we dream it.

Never, never BUT NEVER! Stop dreaming.
